How to ship a record

Here's a time-lapse video of how we package records!

Breakdown:

Used records are removed from sleeve. New/sealed records are left in sleeve unless requested otherwise
Sandwiched between two cardboard inserts
Wrapped in packing paper
Inner edges of LP mailer are reinforced with packing tape
Record is then packed inside mailer
One strip of tape to seal mailer
Two strips of tape to reinforce corners & edges

*May vary depending on quantity, size, or shape of record(s), but this is our general process.

Store policies

Record Grading

All records are graded per Goldmine grading standards. Grading order: JACKET/VINYL. All records are kept in a retail environment and may show light signs of bin wear. Every record undergoes quality check before orders are fulfilled.

Book Grading

Books are graded as follows: NEW, VERY GOOD, GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE.

NEW: Brand new, unread copy with little to no flaws.

VERY GOOD: Has been read and may show light signs of wear. Dust jackets included where applicable. In general, VG books will not have underlining and marginalia.

GOOD: Will have signs of wear. Dust jackets may not be included. May have some underlining and marginalia.

ACCEPTABLE: Noticeable wear. Dust jackets may not be included. May have some underlining and marginalia.

Stock Notice

Most of our online inventory is also available in-store. We do our best to keep our online and in-store stock synced, but some items listed as available on our website are liable to prior sale in store.
